Order at the walk-up windows outside and grab a seat at the patio tables, or step inside to the order windows, the menu boards and our pastel booths.
There’s a parking lot right at the shop, the same lot that turns into a stage for National Ice Cream Day and fills with classic cars for our August car show.

What began as a simple neighbourhood ice cream stand quickly became a local tradition, a place where summer nights, first dates and family memories all seemed to happen over soft-serve cones and sundaes.
Today the striped awning out front still reads “Famous since 1951.”

Visiting the Shop: Your Questions
Are you open in winter?
Yes. Our winter hours are Monday to Sunday, 11:00 am – 10:00 pm. In spring, fall and summer we’re open Monday to Sunday, 11:00 am – 11:00 pm.
Where do I pick up my custom cake?
Right here at 1080 Adelaide Street North, any time after 11:00 am on your pickup day. Orders placed through the online order form need at least 24 hours’ notice.
Can I get a cake today without ordering ahead?
Yes. We offer a variety of ready-made ice cream cakes and pies in-store daily. Need a custom cake in a hurry? Call (519) 438-CAKE: in many cases, we can prepare it within 3–4 hours.
Is there parking?
Yes, there’s a parking lot right at the shop.
Can we sit down and eat at the shop?
Yes. There are patio tables outside by the walk-up windows, and booths inside.
